Eternal Vision
WE ARE GOING TO LIVE FOREVER
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 NIV
Father God, we praise you for being the Alpha and Omega, beginning and end, and the maker of all things, seen and unseen.
He was with God in the beginning. John 1:2 NIV
Christ, you existed before the beginning of time, but entered into this world as Jesus just a short 2000 years ago. We praise you for this event and am deeply grateful for your presence in our lives.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:3 NIV
CHRIST IS ETERNAL, AND SO ARE WE
Father God, you have always existed. You never end. You are the power that created and sustains the universe, and your love for us is amazing. Thank you for our ability to think about these things, to be aware of your presence, and for the hope that we have to one day be with you in heaven.
In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. John 1:4 NIV
Jesus Christ, you are the light of this world; the beacon of hope. We hang all hope on you, and your words as found in your Sacred Scriptures. Thank you for your provision for us, salvation by your grace, through our faith, which is also a free gift from you. You have blessed us with an eternal perspective that would be impossible to have without knowing you. Thank you.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 NIV
OUR ONLY TRUE IDENTITY: A CHILD OF GOD
Lord God, there is so much evil in this world. Help us to be in this world but not of it. Help us to remember who we are in you, and to have our full identify in you, and not let this world distract us from knowing with all our mind and heart, that you are the only reason for the hope that we have.
Dear child, I love you. I love all who follow me. I want the world to follow me. My hope is all will embrace my eternal love. I have given you and all followers of me my Holy Spirit, that lives inside of you. Follow me and my Holy Spirit. Surrender your will and your life over to my care, and I will lead you.
Yes, Lord, you lead us beside still waters. You restore our soul. You lead us in paths of righteousness for your glory and your honor. Your goodness can not be overstated. Your mercy is overwhelming. You rescued our souls that we lost without you. We get to dwell in your presence, and drink the richness of your love without conditions. This free gift of yours is amazing, and by your grace we will spend eternity with you. We praise you for this and worship you and you alone.
CHRIST IS SAFE
Yes, my child. I am safe to worship. No human is safe to worship. No thing is safe to worship. All else other than the worship of me, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and our Holy Spirit – we alone are safe to worship. Do not have false idols. All things of this world are only temporary. They do not last for ever. I alone am eternal, along with your soul. I created you. You belong to me. I am yours. You are mine. You belong to me.
Yes Lord God.
CHRIST KNOWS US, HAS KNOWN US, WILL ALWAYS KNOW US
1- You have searched me, Lord,and you know me.
2- You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3- You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
4- Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.
5- You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.
6- Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
7- Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
8- If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9- If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10- even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
11- If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”
12- even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
13- For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14- I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15- My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16- Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
17- How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God! How vast is the sum of them!
18- Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:1-18 NIV
CHRIST’S SPIRIT IS LIFE TO US
My child, my words are life to your Spirit that is inside of you. My Spirit rejoices when your Spirit has communion with me. Continue to sit with me, every day, like this. And remember, I love you totally and completely, without condition.
Thank you Lord for your love. Thank you for this time together. May you have your way with me and all who read this prayer.
